I really hope they fix it for you. I have been to the dealership three times and complained to corporate, but they just keep saying there’s nothing they can do.I second this. Will be having the dealership take a look and fix it at the 5,000 mile check up.
I drive in stop-and-go traffic most days, but it’s always there. I live in Houston, so it is humid. It seems like humidity might be a common factor for people with loud squealing.people with brake squeal do you live in a high traffic area or very rarely find yourself braking on a normal drive?
Thanks. I'm lucky in that my local dealership is pretty great. Also, it's a known issue with the Tacoma's and Land Cruisers, and now the 4Runners. I'd try chatting with another dealer, if you have one in your area. Good luck!I really hope they fix it for you. I am in rural Montana, with not a lot of traffic. On mornings/days when it has rained, it is really bad. On other days, it's always there in reverse, but not as horrible.people with brake squeal do you live in a high traffic area or very rarely find yourself braking on a normal drive?
Very much so!that's so odd this really has just become a chance game for people huh
I can’t sneak out to dunkin donuts anymore at 630amIt really sucks having to hear this brake squeal every morning. It’s not a great way to start your day. I leave early for work, and the sequel wakes my wife and kids up. I bet the entire street knows when I leave for work.
This is the biggest loss in the brake squeal epidemic. You don’t know what you got till it’s gone.I can’t sneak out to dunkin donuts anymore at 630am![]()
