So my audio sounds fine and everything “works” as it should but I DO have a “static” , hissing , or white noise in my speakers (any of them mostly the front driver dash board). When its dead quiet i can hear noises from the speakers with my volume turned off whether its connected to car play or...
I wonder if fishing the bolts through the frame would be better/stronger than the "solutions" we have to do now because toyota forgot to add threads to the frame for some models.
Like either turn the volume knob all the way down or press it to mute the song or radio. I also tried disconnecting apple car play thinking it might be a connection glitch but it still present with no car play connection.
wait is there any audio equipment under the front passenger seat? I have a dash cam battery pack tucked there not sure if thats causing any issues I dont think so.
its not really like static but maybe like white noise? its a noise when the audio is muted, theres a slight hint of the noise when the music is set to a very low volume. I hear it more on the speakers located on the dash and the rear door top speakers but not the removable speaker
does anyone have buzzing noise from their jbl speakers (any of them) when the audio is muted? you can hear it if the cabin is really quiet or putting your ear up close to the speakers
highways going 65-70mph has been very good for me, Im getting 25-26 mpg over a span of 200 mile round trip. City still lacking a bit but hope it improves more.
to the people who have brake squeal does it only happen on the first start up reverse of your day? Does it come back after a drive? every time you reverse? I get a tiny bit (not as loud in the video) only after it rains and it never happens again
They don't feel "solid" but definitely doesn't feel like its going to fly off like the front air dam, but there are some people who are having rear spoiler issues (flying off). Also the previous gen is the same so I heard.
The a/c doesnt affect it just eco, normal, and sport. It only happens at 5mph very rarely are most people doing such low speeds maybe if you live in an area with terrible traffic. Also you dont necessarily need to look at the rpm because the car jerks forwarded and back like if you were to tap...
Ok so it does it once the engine if first turned on also when the engine starts up again after the hybrid goes to charge. I tested it with S1 and drove around with it never happening.
Alittle over 3k miles the rpm dances around the 1k mark. I feels the transition between the engine kicking on and accelerating kick but thats normal for the hybrid. Literally any other speed or rpm the rpm wont do that. Im posting this to see if other people can also replicate this on theirs.
This is done more so in the scenario of at a complete stop and letting go of the brake like in very heavy traffic. Its not just the rpm bouncing around the car has a slight jerk back and forth like someone is tapping on the gas little by little. The thing is it wont do this at literally any...
