Wildshield Wiper Motor Noise

Anybody else noticed windshield wiper motor noise? It's a faint "whirring" noise, but fairly easy to hear, even with music on and rain coming down.

If I hit the wiper once, I don't hear it, but when the wipers are running constant or intermittent, I start to notice the noise.

I'll notice that the noise randomly goes away, I think usually when they've been turned off a bit, but it starts up again after running for a minute or so.

Yes, I didn't notice it until end of a drive in the rain recently. I guess it was silent for a while then started with the noise because I didn't notice it until later in the drive. Haven't run them since but it was strangely loud as I recall.

I have noticed that the wiper motor in my 2025 ORP is significantly louder than the one in my 5th Gen.

I have found that the wiper motor is really loud as well. Has anyone brought this into the dealer to see if it is not common?

I plan to mention it when I bring mine in for its first service appointment. It drives me a little crazy. I’ll try to remember to report back here.

Would love to hear if everyone is dealing with the noise or select vehicles, and if it’s fixable.

I think the noise is pretty universal between the trims. I got it, really noticeable with the radio off.

And yeah, I crank the music to hide it, and just started noticing the brake pedal vibrating when there's too much bass. There's always something..

+1 I noticed this last night

I was thinking it must be the motor position. Either that or non-acoustic glass in the windshield. Curious if the limited owners have a similar experience.
