Hi,
I have posted this question a while back, but there were no resolutions. When my hatch is left open for a period of time, the button will not close the hatch. I have to manually pull down the hatch to close it. It seems like there is a period of time where the electronics disengage the hatch and nothing will signal it to close by a push-up a button.
I know some people will say just close your hatch and you won’t have a problem. I parked in the garage and have little children and sometimes it gets left open. It would be nice to know if there is a way to engage the electronics so I don’t have to pull it down. While I am strong enough, my wife is not tall enough to reach. Basically it is a pain.
I have tried:
-pushing and then holding down the button
-pushing the lock button
-holding down the lock button
-turning the truck on and doing the same
-trying the inside button
-moving the vehicle and pushing the button
Only when the hatch is closed and it resets does it work again.
I am looking for any workarounds.
Thanks.
