I see. What you described happened to my 6th Gen. I have a 26 hybrid, purchased in January. I drove <1 mile between occurrence and it being serviced at the dealer. They drained/refilled my transmission and wasn't able to reproduce the issue, but they did find my fluid level to be short ~ 1 quart.I went about 12 miles home and then 2 miles to the dealer the next morning.
Yeah...it def needs a tune. really surprised they did not iron that out before releasing for sale. $650 tune will iron it out.I see. What you described happened to my 6th Gen. It hasn't occurred since then. The transmission still sucks though. It feels like I'm running over small animals when at slow speeds.
Ouch, that’s sucks! I hope you get this fixed quickly, please keep us updated. You can add my wife’s pro to the list 2026 got August 15 and seven days later with 231 miles we throw the hybrid malfunction take to dealer. They test drove it. Three more errors came up and they pulled the pan found metal shavings. They have a call into Toyota corporate to replace the transmission, torque converter and some of the heart hybrid parts. I guess from what I understand.
