Am I Getting software updates on the computers in the 2025 IForce Max? More computer control over the drive system? I haven't had time to disengage the lane control that has mad it very difficult to control with high winds.

Wow! Thank you for the hilarious responses to my horribly written question.
I was asking about the aggressive behavior towards getting my 4Runner in for a tune-up. I was wondering if they are using it for software/firmware/hardware upgrades, not just topping off fluids. Other manufacturers have been more subtle about free oil changes, etc.
Thank you for any help.

You may be on to something. Mailing out physical letters even for the front chin strap (good amount of people take off anyways) does support the idea they're looking to get data from the vehicles.

I know there are quite a bit of Toyota techs, salesmen, etc. in this forum. Would be curious to hear their thoughts.

Pretty sure they can collect data through the Toyota app as well but to what extent I'm not positive.

Interesting. I dont get anything from the dealer about service. I turned off Connected Services on day 2 though so maybe that is why? I never let the dealer service any vehicle I own.

not sure I interpreted this correctly but if you're getting sway in high winds, there's a single button on the upper right side of the steering wheel that turns off lane tracing. the one with a picture of a "lane" on it.
