think there's any possible correlation with the underfilled transmission oil from the factory reported here? hybrid system malfunction i understand overheating can happen under challenging conditions but surely a 4runner in 4hi should not be tapping out when a honda accord or a crossover has no...
Thanks for posting this, I am probably going to do the same lift as you with the Dobinsons springs as well, but I wanted to clarify one thing on the geometry:
Wouldn't a higher circlip setting (e.g., 2.5", nearer the top of the shock) cause more preload to the spring and create a rougher ride...
on the left: right hand front drive shaft assembly 43410-60190 which is marked as an EXACT FIT for a 2025 ORP Hybrid. when i change the vehicle to a non-hybrid it still says EXACT FIT.
on the right: right hand front drive shaft assembly 43410-AK020 which "may not fit" the 2025 ORP Hybrid. when...
isn't this a logical fallacy? toyota sold us the problem and also the cure? pretty weak if you ask me. i fully understand wanting to keep the factory warranty, so i'm still curious but thinking that this solves the problem they created for only a bit more $ than the aftermarket they're competing...

also curious on this. can't find anything on any of the landcruiser/gx550 forums either. i was debating reaching out to one of the aftermarket rack companies but i don't think they have any incentive to tell you it "might" work when they offer aftermarket parts specifically for the lc250 and...
hey there - any issues with 360 camera interference with the lower grille light bars? i've seen mention of some issues with the cali raised and rave off road options and wasn't sure if there was a trick to getting that to work... this has me considering the 40 inch upper grille light bar.
19mpg total average. no air dam, have steel engine skid and step sliders. mostly eco or standard mode. stock michelin ltx trail tires. kinda surprised after reading this (and the non-hybrid) thread, i don't feel like i drive aggressively enough to get such mediocre mileage. maybe i should try...
any update? i reached out to westcott to see if they had any idea on fitment but if you can confirm thats even better. i'm also old school and think theres a damn good aerodynamic reason they didn't make these boxes as giant rectangles.
