anyone notice that the remote key fob fits perfectly between the tensioners in the cupholder.

a great spot to keep the key fob while driving. snug fit stops the key from sliding around when driving.

the little things that make OCD me happy...

i guess if that makes you happy :)

personally i find it weird you people actually set yours down somewhere in the vehicle. mine stays attached to me via a carbineer attached to a belt loop.

that way i can never forget it and the vehicle can never accidently lock me out.

but thats just me

Tall boy cans fit exactly perfect in the center console, waiting for potential aftermarket mini fridge option.

Having the key off your person is a recipe for disaster.

I will never understand this. Or guys that remove their wallet while driving.

I would 100% forget one or both of them in the vehicle at least three times a week.

I always pull my wallet out of back pocket when hopping in and set in door pocket. I need to badge in through a gate and the card's in my wallet. Makes it simpler that way. It's habit now and muscle memory to grab it as I'm stepping out.

I have my badge in its slot in my bag until it's around my neck. It's in one of those two places or I stop everything until it is. I laid it on the center console in my Tundra about 10 years ago, and .008 seconds later it slid forward and went between two pieces of the dash and I had to spend four hours taking the console/dash apart to get it back :D

the wallet i can understand, men's wallets tend to be fatter than they should be and end up pinching a nerve or muscle when in a rear pocket.

personally i cant stand sitting on mine, it makes it so uncomfortable to sit (especially long trips), so i put it into the door pocket. but its such a habit i rarely forget to get it out unless i am at work or at home, then it just sits there until i need it.

i remember my dad having a limp from always sitting on his wallet as he got older.

plus leaving your wallet in the vehicle is a minor issue if you forget it compared to locking your fob accidently in a the vehicle.

but the vehicle shouldnt lock with a fob inside if you tend to leave the fob in the center console area as there is a antenna located under the tunnel around the center console area.

I guess that I just started keeping less and less in my wallet over the years as the phone replaced things like business cards, insurance stuff, and most receipts. Also, I rarely have much cash at all any more. My wallet has like five cards and a couple bucks in it, it's flat with a magnetic money clip on the back of it. That might be why it doesn't bother me?

Anyway, this was really an excuse to show off my dumb wallet.

lol as least yours looks new.

i still have my camo tri-fold wallet from basic training (nov-1987). granted the velco is gone, the plastic window to hold and show my id is gone from the outside.

sad part its kinda hard to get rid of now since its going on like 40 yrs with it even though it pretty much falled apart. i wont get rid of it now

You can barely read the words any more. That pic is when it was new. It was cheaper to order that off amazon with my own words picked out than a new wallet from the local store. Not a buy-for-life quality, but it's made well enough. I mainly bought it because of the form factor. Thin and light. I think I figured out over the years that if I have a big wallet, I just fill it with more crap and it does become an issue for my ass/back.

The real weirdos are the people with the rigid/metal wallets. Maybe it's because I don't have as much padding back there? THOSE should hurt anybody's ass, and if I had one I'd certainly remove it before sitting down too LOL

My rigid metal wallet goes in my front pocket. Nothing goes in the back pockets at all.
