anyone notice that the remote key fob fits perfectly between the tensioners in the cupholder.
a great spot to keep the key fob while driving. snug fit stops the key from sliding around when driving.

the Toyota system is a bit quirky, to be fair. Less intuitive than many other makes that we own.
I've found that if you call up the memory positions while still in park and before driving off, it's pretty consistent. However if you try to call up the memory settings while driving, it does...

I've been using an OBD II usb cable to hard wire dash cams on all my vehicles and will be doing so with my 6G4R. Always on power with low voltage protector allows the dash cam to record during parking mode.
A simple, reversible, and proven solution that's worked for me for many years and cars.
