I've been thinking of taking advantage of their Black Friday sale on this but than I started watching YouTube videos to try and get an idea of what it actually does to change the sound of the vehicle.
This is probably a dumb question, but in all of the videos I've watched it seems the sound...
even more disappointing is seeing that I need 15 inch wheels for the Mickey Thompsons
I guess I will keep the Falken Wildpeaks I have on my 6th gen for now but next year I will probably replace them
lol...I have, or I guess " had " is the term now a friend who scoffed at me when I told him he absolutely could not eat in my 5th gen 4runner, I was taking him home and his house was literally 5 minutes away. The dude had the nerve to ignore me. Than he did it again a few years later...I ended...
So what did you do with your rear seats after removal ? I am tempted to do the same as it's doubtful they will ever get used but storage would be an issue.
the rear seat thing is not nit picking.. you lose a significant amount of cargo space which makes things like camping/sleeping in the back a problem for some folks, and carrying longer items back there is an issue also.
its a retarded thing...literally.
Theres one guy on here who thinks its...
Every time I go to start this thread, I tell myself I am overthinking it, and than I go outside to wash my 6th gen and am thinking its too cold to do this now and its n the low 50s, what about in Jan/Feb/March?
I am in PA, and they use a ton of road salt and brine. I want to keep that crap off...
$125.00 isn't right and if its a mobile detailer he isn't doing the process correctly.
Around here it costs $500-$1200 for a proper ceramic coat. The place that does it will want to keep your car overnight. They wash/decon/paint correct the exterior, apply the ceramic coating, and let it cure...
I took mine to get the undercarriage wool wax treated at a local shop and had the guy remove the air dam.
Vehicle certainly looks more aggressive, and I know its my imagination but I swear it feels like it drives differently...
On another note, I now have one more item taking up space in my...
I thought more or less the same at one point, but as another poster mentioned if you carry a smart phone around, you're already being tracked and your habits examined/sold in far greater detail than you probably realize.
While I don't know this for certain, my suspicion is that Toyota cares far...
Honestly, I think having a third row in a 4runner is just silly and I wish Toyota never introduced it. Any individual beyond an infant or toddler won't be happy in a third row.
I am also convinced that adding the third row is why we have the stupid tumble forward rear seats and lack of...
they have them. I got one for both the 14" display and instrument gauge cluster.
these things do get dusty as hell. I keep one of these in mine within easy reach.
seat covers is probably the best bet...I haven't really found any I like that are below $300.00 but am thinking of giving autoseat zone covers a try: www.autoseatzone.com
Are you absolutely sure it's not just shitty roads and not the vehicle ? I am on my 3rd 4runner, 4th toyota and I live in Pennsylvania which has some of the worst roads in the nation and on some parts of my commute they rival those that would be found in a 3rd world country, full of potholes...
That sucks...it looks like a lot of damage but not enough to get it totaled.
I'd wait till the repairs are done to see how I feel. Increase your chances of it coming out flawless and Make sure you take it to a shop that works on a lot of toyota vehicles, your dealer may even have a collision...
Well, I was going to get either Woolwax or a ceramic coating on my TRD ORP, but I heard from one person, and saw other references online that applications of undercoatings void the factory warranty?
Can someone shed some light on this for me ?
