Hey all- my TRD PRO has started creaking when turning the steering wheel. It sounds like it’s coming from the column as opposed to the drive train/suspension components itself. I’d expect this of an older vehicle, but only have 7k on the car so it’s a bit shocking… very easy to replicate for a dealership, but curious if anyone else has experienced this?

I get a click sound after each turn letf or right. Not a creaking sound. Its 100% repeatable but I too would like to know if that is normal without hijacking your thread. Its one click per turn. I am assuming its a steering sensor or something that is just noisy alond with the many other pops and cracks in the car interior :(

Interesting… does it sound like it’s coming from the column? My creaking sounds like it’s coming directly from where the steering wheel attaches to the column (I.e right behind the Toyota emblem).

There is no creaking sound from my Pro’s steering wheel, but I am only at 1,000 miles so far.

Hopefully your dealer can help you out as you said it will be easy to recreate the annoying sound for them.
