Hey Folks - For those that have a Limited/Platinum trim, or if your trim has power seating.. does your seat 'creak' and make cracking noises from time to time ?

I've noticed this will happen whenever it's quiet inside the cabin and I'm adjusting my seating or my body weight is shifting as I brake/press the gas pedal. By no means is this something that will disable the car, but given that I paid close to 70K OTD after taxes in my state... I'd prefer to have a seat that DOESN'T creak the way mine is.

Video attached for reference. The seat will quiet down a bit if I adjust it by moving the back forward or back a bit, but it always comes back after a few minutes. Anyone else experiencing this?

you sure its not the actual seat back creaking ???

there was an issue with tundra's where the actual seat back would creak/pop if you pushed too hard inward in the middle of the seatback.

something to do with the support hardware within the seat, not sure if this is a repeat of that same issue.

i dont have it but then again i am only 176 lbs 1/2 korean kid with my egg belly (as my daughter says)

I cant tell anything in the video. Sounds like you moving around and your clothes squeaking on the leather seats.

My '25 TRD Pro makes the same noise with any movement in the seat while sitting in it. Mine is the leather rubbing against the console. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it aside from putting some sort of soft material between them.

Yeah makes sense. I did my best to minimize any sound from the leather so I can say that the majority of the noise you're hearing in this video is from the seat itself and NOT the material rubbing against each other.

Hmm I'll give that a try as well. It's just hard to replicate for a video since you can only really here it when someone sits in the seat with their full body weight.

Perhaps this is life telling me to lose some weight šŸ˜‚

Heard the creaks from your video. I haven't noticed any seat sounds on mine but now you've given me something else to listen for....

The best way I can describe the noise is 'unsettled plastic' - which might very well be what it is. The creaking significantly reduces if I adjust the back of my seat so I suspect it's something in the servos/motors that's causing the noise.

Even after adjusting though the sound will come back eventually

I haven’t experienced this in my limited but I’m guessing it may be one of those things that could show up over time
