Just a weird question. Why would replacing the shocks make a warning light come on in the dash. I've replaced shocks on several vehicle and never heard of this issue?

on the limited and platinum they have AVS, so the shocks can be adjusted for ride comfort/stiffness

personally i hate it on our 23 tundra, doesnt makes a noticeable difference at least for me.

and its not much difference on the 4R either, so imo, its a waste of hardware and money to have it. plus from what i can tell the vehicle rides worse than the lower trims without it.

Those wheels look to be poking out more than usual. Are you running wheel spacers? The pro wheels have a +20mm offset and poke a good bit, but those TRD Premium upgrade wheels that you are running have a much narrower offset (+45mm)
These are factory 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with no spacers. The offset is about an inch wider (I think 30mm maybe). So they do have just a little poke.

interesting that just unplugging the shocks doesnt throw any codes.

are you unplugging the shocks at the actual shocks or a fuse ?
Unplugged at the shock. And we have 2,000 miles on them already. No codes, no warning lights, no errors.
