Hi Yall!
Installed the OEM cargo lights on my 2025 ORP today and I seriously can’t believe how much brighter the back area is now. The stock setup is basically useless in the dark, but these new lights light up the entire cargo space like a spotlight. Total night-and-day difference.
The install wasn’t too bad, just a little tedious. You do use a Phillips for the cargo fastener, but I didn’t have the right size, so I ended up using a flathead and it worked fine. After that, the main thing is just being careful with the D-pillar trim. You need to pull it toward you, not down. A pry tool helped a lot to pop the clips loose without cracking anything.
Once that fastener is out, you can actually pull the trim back enough to fit the new panel and wiring where it needs to go. Re-aligning everything afterward takes a little patience, but once it all snaps back in, it’s solid.
Overall, the extra light is absolutely worth the effort. The rear cargo area finally looks like it should’ve from the factory. If you use your cargo space at night, this upgrade is a must.
