Yep, not ideal but very limited options! The trailer is lightweight, ~1500 lbs dry. It’s a Timberleaf Pika Offroad and is perfect for our needs. Took it as easy as I could on the drives given the new engine and barely noticed it back there.

We have a Skoolie, but then can't really off-road (well, it can probably do pretty well, is built like a tank, and has more ground clearance than any 4Ruunre or Jeep--but I would hate to get it stuck!). Theoretically I could tow the 4Runner on a trailer, but that is less than ideal in many ways. Plus the bus (diesel) gets about 10 MPG. We got that as I did not have a good tow vehicle, but now that I do I kind of would just like a trailer.
