I love this guys videos. Hes always dialled in and nit picks things id never notice till up close.

I had the opportunity to actually drive one of the land cruisers recently and its a nice ride but as soon as i sat back in my 4Runner it felt more natural to me.

I also found the 4Runner felt more spacious interior to me.

Cant wait to see off road stats compared or a TFL mountain review.

I also drove the LC before getting the Pro but I didn't feel it fit my offroad needs.

The paint part has me a bit mystified. Personally I found more than one imperfection.

I was in the same dilemma. For my personal needs the 4Runner ORP gas only is all I want and need. I don’t want the hybrid powertrain. It is an afterthought with extra weight and expense, compromised cargo area and not noticeable improvement of the fuel efficiency like the regular Toyota hybrid system. What I did like about the LC was the visibility which is compromised in the 4Runner. As an off roader both perform the same in the hands of a competent driver. The 4Runner comes with better wheels and tires. It costed me around $1600 for aluminum skid plates and rock rails. Now the truck is way better equipped for any outdoor activities. Why paying $15000 extra for the same thing, which is actually worse in some areas?

Good comparison. For me, the differences between the two isn’t enough to fork over the extra dough for the Land Cruiser albeit the price being a little closer between it and the 4Runner Limited trim.

If they had offered a non-hybrid version of the LC I would have taken it over my ORP.

I think I might have mentioned this before in another post. If they ever make an LC with the round headlights again, in a non hybrid version I would consider it as well as the Pro 4R.
I think they're excellent looking vehicles and would suit my needs. Like another poster mentioned, compromised cargo space, added weight, complexity, Etc. No thanks.

the bad part of the LC250, poor sales. i dont expect this model to last to the 4-5-7 yr refresh point.

the cost premium over a 4R doesnt line up with what you get. its in an odd place in the lineup between the 4R and either a sequoia or a lexus gx550 series

If the Land Cruiser didnt have the hybrid 4cyl and had the tundra non hybrid v6 as it should, I would have bought it instead of the 4runner
