13' Frontier...soon to get new 4runner
so it looks good, but I can’t figure out how the main part of the bracket the big wide piece is attached to the dash something I gotta find out

You just remove some bolts back there and take out the plastic piece, use the bolts on the new one. I think its just 4 bolts.

my reason for wanting a smaller screen is that I plan to install a Radiohead on the dash like I have in my Nissan frontier but with that big screen, it really takes away a lot of usable real estate for me
Make sure to post a picture if you do mount it there! I'm trying to decide where to put the head of my TM-D710GA, haven't found a perfect spot yet.

Which radio are you installing?

my plan is for my KW ts-480 with an ATAS-120 screwdriver antenna mounted high on the back right corner … then buy a new 2m with it mounted somewhere else with its antenna mounted on the back left corner … too much fun! would like to hear and see pictures of where you’re mounting your stuff.
