so I’m trying to decide what trim levels of the sixth GEN to get. I’ve test driven off-road premium that seems pretty pretty dang nice. My my thought is probably 90-95% of my time will be spent on tarmac with an occasional spirited cornering and the other few percent off-road not that I am crazy...
with your dogs in the back do you drive with the back window open, or is the general consensus is that’s not a good idea because all of the exhaust coming in?
I find that I have a preference for a higher viewing angle. When I sit in the driver seat seat, I find that the new Land Cruiser and the fifth GEN version of the forerunner both enable me to do that and still have the steering wheel play that allows me to see the dials. but in all likelihood if...
so I just rented a 2025 RAV4 and was seriously annoyed with how it was trying to steer the car, I couldn’t figure out how to turn the dang thing off after all I am the driver, not it! That said and ascertaining whether I should buy a sixth GEN or a fifth GEN do the latest fifth GEN 4runners...
I remember a story from my motorcycle years of a guy who when he bought a new bmw cycle brought it home, purposely laid it over on the garage floor, picked it back up and said...ok...its got a scratch now...I'm going to worry about it! Dont think I could do that but I get it...I'll likely baby...
So I'm in the paralysis by analysis stage...driven both...know most of the specs on the various trims

With that said I'm wondering if there are any 6th gen owners wish they had bought the 5th gen...
something related to the radio install I’m wondering to those who have done it. Have you experienced any excessive RF noise? I passed a Tesla truck yesterday and it completely wiped out the HF spectrum on my radio. So I’m wondering, how difficult is it gonna be to create a clean RF environment...
my plan is for my KW ts-480 with an ATAS-120 screwdriver antenna mounted high on the back right corner … then buy a new 2m with it mounted somewhere else with its antenna mounted on the back left corner … too much fun! would like to hear and see pictures of where you’re mounting your stuff.
my reason for wanting a smaller screen is that I plan to install a Radiohead on the dash like I have in my Nissan frontier but with that big screen, it really takes away a lot of usable real estate for me
Was wondering if anyone else has this issue/concern...
When I set the seat to the height I prefer the steering wheel cant be set high enough for a clear
view of the front display, forcing a compromised seating position. I realize every vehicle has
compromises but........
Thanks
