I am kind of surprised they don't have the 14" screen as an add on option like the Tacoma, probably to make you upgrade to the premium options. But what do you all think the after market options for a large screen to replace smaller ones on the SR5 and non premium models will be? If they offered it as an add on I for sure would be going with iForce off road base model, but since it's not I might switch to gas premium off road to get that screen.

There's no aftermarket head unit / display screen options yet for the 2024 Tacoma, but obviously once we see options, they'll work on the 2025 4runner also.

Also haven't seen any 2024 Tacoma owners upgrade from 8" to 14" screen yet either. And once someone details how to do that, we'll also know how to do it on the 2025 4runner.

but the big question and i dont see any part of the video addressing it, how does it get to the toyota functions?

and some of them are pretty big issues to not have access to.

Hello, bringing up an old thread. Has anyone tried to do this? Perhaps by calling dealer or installed an aftermarket one?

Hopefully soon 2026 4Runner Off Road
If you’re going to upgrade, why settle on 14 inches? Why not 20+ inches if you’re going to go to all the bother?

Got this on Ali…came with 360 camera and 128 memory. So far so good. Don’t need to reset like some other aftermarket out there.

Looks great. How was the install? Have a link to this screen? Toyota functions working properly?

Install was ok. Never got a manual but watch a video from a different vendor on YouTube. Worked out…the only problem was the OEM backup camera wasn’t compatible. After going back and forth with the vendor, decided to just install the 360 camera that came with it…work out.
Don’t have the link as it has been months, pretty sure there are better alternatives now. Paid $700 for the unit. I remember the brand was Navihua. My only advice, get the higher memory as it makes the unit faster.
Sound is awesome too, don’t need an amp, just put the settings on Jazz.
