Husband has 2nd Gen Tacoma, 2015 Honda Shadow Phantom Motorcycle. And I have a 2021 Yamaha Raptor 700R Special Edition.
And of course. I’m in my 2025 4Runner TRD Pro.

That’s awesome. That is my plan as well, we are trading in my Jeep for a 23 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Since I have a service van for work, I’ll be driving that while my wife has the Highlander. I’m going to patiently wait for the new 4Runner to come out, if I love it I will order one and if I don’t, I may consider the Land Cruiser or go to a 5th gen 4Runner. It’s going to be exciting to see what happens next.

Sounds like a solid plan. Having the service van definitely takes the pressure off so you can wait for exactly what you want without rushing into it. I’m also really curious to see the new 4Runner in person — from everything we’ve seen so far, it looks like Toyota is putting a lot of thought into keeping the off-road spirit alive while modernizing the platform.


The Land Cruiser is also a tempting option, especially with its heritage and rugged build. And hey, a clean 5th gen is still a fantastic choice if it turns out the new model doesn’t check all your boxes. Either way, you’ll have some great options when the time comes.
