I have 265/70/18 KO3’s on my Tacoma. I have 7000 miles on them and they have performed nicely in rain, sleet, snow, slush, mud, etc. However, I am installing Michelin LTX AT/2’s on my 4Runner tomorrow.

Are you saying your KO3’s were bad in the rain? Or KO2’s?

Recommend you get rid of those 20” wheels. Some 18” wheels and all terrain tires would be smart. 265/70/18 Michelin Defender LTX MS2 are pretty highly regarded.

Very typical early in the Tacoma launch until people discovered ppf, big mud flaps and side steps.

Exactly. I managed 8.7% off MSRP for my 2024 Tacoma last October. These days deals over 10% are more common. Time is your friend and don’t forget end of month, end of quarter, and end of year are key times to buy.

Bake it in the Texas sun this weekend and see if the water and moisture evaporate and clears up the issues. If you have a moonroof, open it and bake that sucker.

Which windows did you get tinted?

Probably to prevent fingers or a dog nose from getting pinched.
