commenting for those still looking but I came across this part for the 2024+ Taco on amazon today so perhaps something will come along for the 4runner eventually?

That's pretty awesome.

I have to ask though...If they're going to the trouble...Why not make it a real grab handle instead of the same bullshit that's on the passenger side. Crappiest 'oh crap' handle I've ever seen LOL

I do not disagree with you but I would want something that matches the passenger side just because the symmetry difference would bother me.

ORP has the same grab handle location as zgreen showed above for the Pro. I'm still trying to figure out the best sequence of left hand, right hand, grab handle, steering wheel, left foot/right foot and running board, for both entry and exit. The stock running board on the ORP is kind of in the way if you try to bypass it on entry or especially exit, so I guess I'll figure out how to use it. It's kind of like a game of twister: left foot green, left hand red, right hand blue, right leg yellow ;o).
I am having the same problem!

I mean do you really need a grab handle?
I am older, and have back and balance issues, I traded my LC, no handle on the driver side, 2 less touch to lock the doors...no navigation unless you have a smartphone....uugghhh..
