I did mine like that as well.I'm not sure about you guys but every passenger that gets in my truck has no idea there is a grab handle hidden in the A pillar and for good reason, it's completely invisible when getting in, a horrible design that leave my shorter passengers looking confused on how to get in or clawing around aimlessly. I got this idea from our taco brothers and applied the idea our trucks. Perhaps not the cleanest fitment but it is functional until a bespoke 3d printed piece comes out.
So I got this paracord handle and mounted it under the oem handle reusing the same bolts and location, tools required will be a plastic pry tool and a 10 mil socket. Install time is 5 minutes, It comes in black, blue or red.
