275/70r18 33" tires on TRD Off-Road Premium ORP no lift (Nitto Terra Grappler on 18" Factory Upgrade TRD Wheels)

275/70/18 33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires installed on 18" Factory Upgrade TRD Wheels w/ no lift.

So I pulled the trigger on some 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers tires (replaces the Falken Wildpeak AT3WA that comes with 18" TRD Wheels package upgrade). At first I wanted to go 34" with a 285/70r18 but there were not many options for the 18" wheel. Most were E load and the only nice C load I could find were the Wildpeaks but they are Heavy! 70lbs per tire.

That being said this is my wife's car, I did not want to run the E load or the heavy tire so I chose to go with a 33s and I am happy. It drives very smooth on the highway with minimal noise and I like the way it looks for now but might add a lift in the future.

I think it would definitely rub without a level or a lift.

Curious how the 275/70/18 size is working on the ORP a month or so later.

I'm curious if they rub off road. I'd rather not add a lift but I like that tire size.

Looks nice. Any rubbing issues? Have you tested them offroad?

Trying to bring this thread back to life, can any users confirm if the ORP rims rub with 275 at full lock?
