Not really sure why ChatGPT would be trusted over the Toyota site. (My experience is that you can learn things quickly from AI summaries but really need to verify every detail cuz they will mix and match "facts" from whatever they scrape)

And I'm still looking for insight on exactly how the PRO and TH get that extra .4" vs. the ORP - slightly longer shock/spring height assumedly??
After I posted above I realized that the ground clearance on the Off-road trims is 9.1" vs 10.1" for the PRO/TH. And that might also play into tire/wheel fitment without changes to the body or suspension... But perhaps this topic needs its own thread so I can be appropriately educated on the differences.
In any event, I've ordered the TRD Flat Black wheels (18x8, +45 offset) and plan to order 285/70s (33.7") tires with every hope that no lifting or cutting will be needed.

This matters to me because I am contemplating the 285/70R18s for my ORP and have convinced myself they will fit using the +45 offset TRD Flat Black wheels. Convinced, in part, by this: Fitting 35" Tires on a STOCK 2025+ 4Runner. I've asked elsewhere about the detailed differences between the ORP and Pro, but so far I can only surmise that the shocks and springs on Pro & THunter account for the .4" difference in height (tires are the same size). (I'm not sure how the curb weight difference plays in here (ORP 5225: +275# for THunter; +235# for Pro) - but its mostly suspension part weight (including stabilizer bar disconnect mechanism and the beefier shocks) because everything else is the same between ORP and PRO - RIGHT??)

Would very much like to know the facts on suspension differences before I pull the trigger on tires so tossing out these facts in the hopes of hearing more facts from folks who know more than I do.

Will also note that the OPs 285/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT4W are true 34" diameter tires vs the usual dimension of 33.7" for 285/70R18. At least that is what the spec sheets I've found say. That .3" could make the difference for the possible .4" difference between ORP and PRO.

I also have the same size spare fit in the undermount cradle (some mods required).
I did the same research on actual tire sizes and weights and went with the K03s.
