Does anyone know how I can get this message to the site admin? Direct message doesn't seem to be working...

Is it possible to change the settings for this community so when we receive email notifications we can actually read the post in the email rather than having to go to the website every time. I know it brings more traffic to the site but it gets a little annoying. The other forums I'm on (powered by the same host, xenForo) have these Administrator options selected...

covers. Dresses upfront of bay. Only issue was my Banks CAI. Had to customize passenger side cover. Available on Amazon.

Looks nice! Agree, it gives the engine bay a more finished and clean look. But Toyota should have already included these covers from the factory. It's kind of bs that 6th gen owners have to purchase these covers as aftermarket parts.

True indeed. Gotta say I'm happy with the quality, fit, and finish.

Picked up my Trailhunter this morning with 5161 miles from the dealer service department.

Transmission pan drop and service
Front differential fluid change
Rear differential fluid change
Transfer case fluid change
Engine oil and filter service
5K service with spare tire rotation

All went well with no issues. Tech stated the rear differential magnet had a lot of material on it, especially for ~5k miles. I'll service it again when I change the engine oil at 10k miles.

I also purchased a fifth cross bar for the ARB 3/4 rack and my salesperson noticed and said that's messed up so they credited me $130 on the service and installed it for me.

Finally installed the Ark full length mud flaps. I'd been dreading it and putting it off and boy, they didn't disappoint. The splash shields and flaps were the most frustrating parts I've ever installed on any vehicle. I gave up on the two piece rivets entirely and am going to pick up some Dormant push "tree" rivets instead to finish off the rear flaps. I suppose the front flaps actually weren't that bad.

Why?
Because I wanted to. 5k miles is enough miles to establish to wear indication and spot potential problems, remove excessive break in material and is representative of how I've maintained my vehicles in the past. I think noting the material on the magnet in the rear differential is noteworthy although I'm very far from condemning it.

Next:
Engine oil and filter, rear differential service to capture wear indications at 10k miles.

Then, at 25k and every 25k following, trans fluid, diffs, xfer case.

Engine oil and filter as determined by engine oil analysis.

How much did these run you?

Transmission pan drop and service
Front differential fluid change
Rear differential fluid change
Transfer case fluid change

I plan to change my ATF at 30K (then every ~50K thereafter), and front/rear diff fluids and transfer case fluid at 15K (then 30K, 80K, etc). I'll also be doing my u-joints and slip yokes every 10K.

Only the ATF changes will I probbaly bring in to be serviced; the rest I can do on my own.

Upgraded the horns. This time I used the Hella horns instead of the Toyota upgrades. Very happy with them and half the price. One of the easiest upgrades.

Transmission: ~$900
Front diff: ~$175
Rear diff: ~$380
Xfer case: ~$195

They said there is no filter in the transmission, only a mesh screen, which makes changing the fluid more important to me.

Installed a set of TRD cast aluminum running boards last night. With the current sale pricing (includes an additional 25% off and $200 shipping credit), they were $757 shipped from Space City Toyota.
