I sure didnt. I guess it pays to read.
i had to since this 4R is drastically different than my 2014 4R vs the 2004 to 2014 switch

the hv system is a big game changer. espeically with jump starting and other features that just didnt exist

i cant got 106k miles before i change the spark plugs, i cant go 10k miles between oil changes

if i did that in this new turbo, this vehicle wouldnt last past 5-7 yrs

If someone tells me how I can get rid of the cruise control icon from always being there I will kiss them

There are several threads from months ago that review the options for MID settings - here is one: Reference Placard for MID settings

And here is my "primary" view (I experimented briefly with single gauge view but preferred the dual - but might have to rethink that based on comments above...):

(and yes, I am just about to fuel up here:>)

Based on Hacksaw's approach I created the following cue sheet that I have laminated on 3x5 card and stored in the sunglass holder in upper console. It actually does not represent my current setup but posting as an idea for others. (I rarely pull it out, but creating it forced me to think about options)

LEFTCENTER: Driving Support System InfoRIGHT
2Fuel Economy1
xNav. Compass/Route Guidance
Audiox
Drive: Avg Speed/Dist/Time (trip)x
3Trip (A/B): Speed/Dist/Time (since reset)
xTraction Monitor: Drxn/Spin indicator
Tire Inflation Pressure3
xTrailer brake
Trailer mode Blnd Spot Monitorx
Pitch & Rollx
xVoltmeter & oil pressurex
xEngine/Trns Oil Temp
Turbo Boost2
1MG-Hybrid Motor Use/Battery Status

My actual current setup:
2nd screen: Turbo Boost left/Tire Inflation Pressure right
3rd screen: Engine/Trns Oil temp left/Voltmeter Oil Pressure right.
for both of these screens I just leave the center at "settings" because there are not any meaningful choices for center other than that and cruise or nav.

I've found that when I want to know pitch & roll I'm usually in MTS and those are available on the big screen so don't need them on MID. (need to check whether traction monitor is also on MTS view - I think so?)

For those that also don't know, some items are hidden from the two side panels by default. When you are on that side of the menu, you can press the right arrow button when on the right side, or left arrow button when on the left side to show and choose hidden options.

good idea on the PKSB.. i havent had that issue though... park in a garage overnight at home and all day at work (both have heaters), but a good idea if you dont have that luxury.

i didnt realize that the panel on screen #3 (yours and mine) was for 4HI/LO engagement. i thought it was traction :) thanks!!

FYI, people seem to confuse those two things from time to time.

PKSB is the parking support brake, which automatically hits the brake when someone/something is near and detected by the rear sensors. E.G., I have to turn this off each time I load up my bikes or I can't reverse.

The automatic parking brake is what applies the parking brake when you put it into park and is turned on/off by pulling and holding the parking brake button.

I don't think you can sadly. There's the mini display that pops up when in ACC but I want the full size view when using it -- I have had it fail to detect the car in front of me a few times in the rain and that's a situation I definitely want to be aware of. But I agree the big cruise control view is annoying when you're not even using it. I've just created two screens -- screen 1 is my normal city driving without cruise control, and screen 2 is pretty much the exact same info just with cruise control added. Screen 3 is for offroad with tire pressure, transmission temps, tilt, etc.

um you are either in adaptive cruise control mode or normal cruise control mode. there is no off switch for cruise control anymore, its always on

so the icon will always show either the adaptive or normal cruise control icon.

forgot to add for those with HUD, going from adaptive to normal cruise control, your hud will show a tach bar vs the radar distance bars in the hud screen depending on how you setup your hud settings.
