I can't fathom wanting to keep my tools in a weird little plastic cubby that I can only access at a stop with the door open when there's perfectly good storage in the door and console and dash, but to each their own.
Based on this post, I ordered the exact same wheels (PTR20-35110-F5) and got a sweet BF deal from Universal Toyota -- $730 for the set with free shipping.
Took them to Discount Tire to get mounted up with the same 285/70R17 Toyo AT3 tires as OP, and was informed that these wheels are not in...
I've had the driver's side interior panel from Cali Raised for a few months and have been happy with it, so I decided to add on the passenger side and overhead tray. Cali Raised initially sent me a second driver's side panel by mistake, but quickly shipped out the correct one when I emailed them...
The ORP definitely supports wireless AA. I'm not sure about your issue with the setting not showing up specifically, but give this a try -- it essentially solved all my problems with skipping and it's worked pretty much flawlessly for me ever since...
The OEM crossbars are crap, honestly, especially for the price. Totally fine if you'll hardly ever use them, but if you really want to roof top anything you're much better off with 3rd party rails from Thule/Yakima/Rhino Rack for about the same price. If you never plan to use them at all, no...
I hate the OEM crossbars for this exact reason -- those stupid plastic feet take up usable space and make it harder to reach and load things from the side when your mounts have to be several inches toward the inside of the roof. I bought my ORP without the ARB roof rack or OEM rails: if anyone's...
I have had the driver's side panel for months and have been very pleased with it. Just ordered the passenger side panel + overhead tray to complete the set, but Cali Raised shipped me another driver's side panel by mistake...
No agents available in their "live chat"... hoping they'll resolve...
No snow here but I did a long interstate drive in some decently heavy rain the other day. Multiple times the assisted cruise control freaked out and the dash said it was unavailable.
Much worse, a few times it didn't turn off or give an error message -- it just straight failed to detect a car...
I agree it would be nice to have a single toggle for all of them, but I don't believe there is one. As far as I know the only one you can't permanently disable is the Pre-Collision System -- this is a requirement for assisted cruise control and I'm pretty sure it resets itself every time the car...
I almost added this to my comment above -- I hate using buttons/knobs to shift. Give me a proper shift lever, dammit. So glad Toyota kept this in the 6th Gen.
I can't say I've driven a Trailsport so can't compare the ride quality or offroad capabilities, but I have to give it to Honda for the interior design, particularly in the trunk space. Lay flat backseats are a huge plus and the storage options (under floor and in the side compartments) look...
I never owned a 5th gen but have rented and driven several of them thousands of collective miles on and off road (Limited, TD Pro, ORP). I really don't get the snark from 5th Gen purists about the 6th Gen interior being plastic-y. Could it be cushier? Sure. As someone with bony-ass elbows, I...
I personally find my attention to be drawn away from the road a lot more when two huge screens in my face are constantly flipping between settings even though the ambient light from driving under trees for five seconds doesn't at all necessitate it. When I see the screen change in my peripherals...
That automatic setting only switches it between light/dark mode, and I already have it set to Nighttime/dark mode. That doesn't seem to actually affect the dimming behavior.
Any time I'm driving at dusk or even a cloudy day, my screens flip between day and night time brightness levels constantly.
For the record, I am NOT talking about light/dark mode (I already have it set to always dark) and I'm well aware of the brightness/contrast settings in the menu as well...
I have this one which looks pretty much exactly like 4Runner Lifestyle's.
I didn't install the bolt because I want to be able to remove it easily if I have a passenger with big legs--it fits snugly but can still be removed in two seconds. I use a 40oz nalgene with several layers of duct tape...
First of all, the most prominent image on the Amazon page is of a 5th Gen TRD Pro with the stock roof rack, which I am quite certain this thing is not compatible with.
This thing is also branded as both a "storage box" and a molle panel -- is it both? Does the "box" actually open to allow...
Many of us have discovered the little quirk where the window lock also applies to the rear hatch window button on the center overhead console -- the window lock is typically meant to prevent children or dogs in the back from opening the backseat windows so it makes little sense that we'd ever...
