Agreed on the Tow mode. You get a similar benefit as sport mode (although maybe not the tightened steering) without the fake engine noise. At least the gearing is sportier. Does anyone know if tow mode also provides some tighter steering? It seems like it would be a benefit you want when...
I would agree about hitting my calves on the oem running boards. The big deal is that the running boards were mounted to the body (underside of the rocker panels) which to me was odd for an off-road vehicle. I was always nervous about them hitting a rock when on trails here in Colorado, and that...
I got lucky and found a brand new Trailhunter front skid plate on FB Marketplace today for $200 cash. Bolted right up to my TRD ORP. That sucker is heavy and solid so definitely feel more secure in Colorado in the rocky trails.
good idea on the PKSB.. i havent had that issue though... park in a garage overnight at home and all day at work (both have heaters), but a good idea if you dont have that luxury.
i didnt realize that the panel on screen #3 (yours and mine) was for 4HI/LO engagement. i thought it was traction...
:) I stumbled on it... since the speedo is in the tach, I liked having the extra space. I'm not a fan of the limited choices for the center display, so I keep it blank and let it use that space for pop-up notifications.
After driving my TRD ORP since September 2025, I feel like I finally settled on configurations for the 3 screens available. I'm curious what others have found to be the most convenient and informative display configuration as well. Let's post our favorite configurations!
I found that the single...
I've heard a rattling only while the interior slide is open (glass closed)... It's just the slide flopping around a little bit while slid back into the headliner - apparently not well supported back there. Any rattling completely goes away if I slide the cover forward/closed.
The production times were the only downside but they are made to order which is rare I guess. I really like the sleek tucked in look - I almost got the trail edition without the rear kick out thinking it stuck out too far but I’m glad I got the kick out. I can see how on our rocky trails here in...
They are referring to your trim level’s frame. The TRD ORP for example only has threads in the front two mounting holes on each side so they will provide blind bolts/anchors for the rest
You are correct that they DID NOT include those front bolts but agree they should have. So get 4 bolts and washers to be prepared, unless it was just an oversight in my case. And yes it should be 12 total blind bolts and washers (which they DID include)
For anyone wondering what the TRAIL EDITION rock sliders from @Cali Raised LED would look like (and how to install) on a 2025 TRD ORP, here you go. I sold the factory running boards on FB Marketplace and installed these. They are the Trail Edition (not Step Edition) which are still on sale 15%...
Love it! Even with my factory TRD wheels and Falken Wildpeaks, it still looks a little anemic in the wheel wells :) . I like the leveling (assuming that lift only lifts the front to level, leaving the rear alone). Although the running boards are convenient daily driving (came with the package)...
I use this in mine:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLJWGM1M?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1
it fits perfectly across and tri-folds. I haven't tried to only unfold 2/3 of it but not a bad idea. We use a seat belt/clip for the small dog so she doesn't go flying :) so I wonder if folding...
