Friends, I am seeing more 6 gens on the road and I’m questioning myself; do I ‘jeep’ wave? Flash my lights? Nod in my blacked out windows? Can we come up with our own thing, or PLEASE school me if there is already a sign out there for us,
enthusiasts.

Anyways, Sherpa, Westcott, Prius, or underdog… what we going with as the best universal roof rack?

Yeah, I am as well curious about the roof rack... Not sure what I need, how they differ, and compare to each other. Never had one, always used a crossbar, and that was simple - the most important thing was aerodynamics and noise.

So far, I like Prinsu Original Roof rack, but I have no idea how it compares to Prinsu Pro, or why I would need Pro? The only thing that I noted is that it has two long aluminum sides instead of one. But I don't know if it added weight pro or cons, does it make more noise with extra openings or not... I like mounting points

Another one with grooves is Westcott designs, only I don't see those round mounting point openings:

So I am curious, how do you mount stuff there? Sherpa is too expensive, so I didn't look more into it.

I am coming from Thule Aero Bars, and we had T adapters that we could easily fit in those channels

I ordered the caliraised roof rack because I liked the price and the feature of covering and revealing the light bar. It arrives in a couple weeks.

edit: I wanna wave to other 6 gen but I’ve only seen two others and they haven’t waved back.

Hey, nice find! That looks awesome, like the idea of side lights... I am not sure that I would ever put front ones :)

Throw four fingers up if you want i guess, 4 for 4 runner. I personally just like the stare and nod as my windows are typically down.

I’m eyeing the same roof rack for the same reasons. Would love to see some photos or hear about the install process once completed.

Just ordered these yesterday! I still think, think having those openings is a smart move. You never know when you might run out of t-nuts!

When did you order yours? Just trying to see when mine might show up.
