Jeeps are better at collecting ducks.
lol that's one thing I just can't wrap my head around is the ducks. Some of these guys or girls have so many ducks I'm not even sure how they see out of the windshield! God forbid they get into an accident....friggin ducks everywhere!
I mean I like to rent Jeeps on vacation when the prices aren't stoopid so I can go anywhere (when it's just my wife and I). It's about the only rental you can get and know exactly what you will get when you make the reservation. I also like dropping them off at the airport lol. They are so much worse on something like a windy I-70 into denver than over the passes in Breck.I drove in a Jeep, once
I just got back from an 8 hour round trip with just the wife and I in the jeep(first time we ever left the kids at home by themselvesI mean I like to rent Jeeps on vacation when the prices aren't stoopid so I can go anywhere (when it's just my wife and I). There aren't many airport car rentals I can get and be scraping the skids on big rocks off-road and not freak out a bit.
its small and light, 4000 pounds I believe, and I think our 25 4runner trd offroad premium is 5250 pounds, so there is certainly a weight advantage. The 2.0 turbo is extremely efficient as well, I personally think one of the better motors jeep has come out with in a long time, reliability wise as well. The new 4runner is what made me decide on the jeep turbo, I felt like if this big old 4runner scoots around this well with a 4cy turbo and 35s that jeep should be a rocket and it is!That is really excellent milage with the way its modded.
Grabbed a cheap set of these off of Amazon and just put them behind the bolts. It spaces out the handle a bit and isn't the most attractive thing...But my wife sure appreciated it (and insisted on the orange lol). What handle did you install?
Before buying my 4Runner Trail Hunter I had owned three Jeep wranglers, two 2013 rubicons, and one 2021 Rubicon 4xe hybrid. I'll add to what you just said and I agree with you 100%. The only thing I wish the trail hunter had is one pedal driving like the hybrid Jeep had, great on those mountain drives and not having to touch the brakes at all. Other than that, I had to use Jeep since you can't flat tow a Toyota anything. After getting rid of my RV I had no use for a Jeep anymore and got rid of it as quickly as possible. Every single trip something broke, every year on the 2021 that I owned for 4 years there was a recall totaling seven. The infotainment center went out three times. Oh and one other thing, on long trips the Jeep is horrible on the highway wandering all over the place, by the time you got to your destination you were exhausted. I've never had a Toyota strand me in the San Juan mountains like the Jeep did, with only 15,000 mi on it. You were right, Jeep is junk.Been traveling a lot for business this year and on my current trip I picked a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from the Hertz president’s circle.
This is what’s better on the Jeep:
#1 real grab handles on both A pillars. My 4th gen has them too, and so do other Toyotas. Why oh why can we not get them on our 6th gen’s?![]()
#2 a designated button for turning off the center screen. I saw that in a Ford compact crossover years ago as well. Yes I know I can click settings, display, turn off but a real button is easier and safer as I zoom down the freeway at near legal speeds.![]()
Other than that, the Jeep is a piece of junk.
