My TRD Pro has four tie-down points in the cargo bay. I already have the cargo net and the cargo cover, but I'm thinking it might be wise to have some tie-down straps to help secure my cargo. Any recommendations?

If you have a Tractor Supply or Rural King Store close by, drop in and look at their selection. Their selections are reasonably priced and adequate for your needs. I would purchase Ratchet Straps as they would secure your cargo properly. Snug your cargo and don't over tighten. If you purchase straps that are too long, you can cut them to length and use heat to fuse the cut. If you plan to pick up several for securing items to the factory roof top rack, pick up chocker straps for creating anchor points around your rails. Pick up a nylon bag to store when not in use. This would keep everything together and easy to access anytime you have the need and would keep you from having to continually replace going forward. Make sure to roll up your straps when not in use when storing as they will be easily accessible and less frustrating considering everything won't be tangled together

Are these pretty decent? was looking at these as well
i actually havent even taken them out of the shipping box, the wife got them for a xmas gift for me.

i got them mostly for the tundra since i dont expect to carry anything in the 4runner.

heck i barely have the wife in it, we always take the tundra when we are both together.

Thule or NRS are popular with the canoe and kayak crowd for a reason...they never slip. NRS (nrs.com) gives you some choices in length and width. Ratchet straps should never be used with canoes/kayaks because they can easily crush any boat just like they could easily pull the anchor points right out of your 4Runner.
