This motor sounds bad. Is it an issue?

Waste of money running anything over 87, a dollar a gallon or more. Just change the oil at 5k intervals and everything will be ok

Yeah...changing oil every 5k for any but harsh dusty conditions is a waste of money as well.. Rule of thumb...do what the manual says to the letter and you won't go wrong.
