SXTH Element Trail Pipe installed

Added @SXTH Element Trail Pipe. Replaces stock resonator and tailpipe that was a major concern on steep departures.

Very subtle, slightly deeper tone on cold start and acceleration. More importantly, absolutely zero drone or low frequency resonance in the 1500-2000 RPM range that I experienced with the AWE OFG cat back because it retains the stock muffler. Tailpipe is no longer an issue - love it!

Hello, I'm kind of curious why Sixth Element did not angle the tailpipe off and flared out like Factory. Big concern on when idling ; where are those gas fumes going.

My guess is they're going to linger underneath the vehicle. Have you noticed any fumigation going on when sitting still? Thanks in advance.

This seems to be "fixing" an issue that doesn't exist. When I look at my Trailhunter, it looks like the spare tire is more likely to touch the ground than the tailpipe. Has anyone actually scraped the factory tailpipe while offroading?

No fumes at all when sitting still - of course it’s a hybrid so the engine is rarely running when it’s stopped. When installed it’s angled down, just positioned closer to the axle and tucked - kinda’ like an axle dump exhaust. Not particularly concerned about fumes.

Yep - both the spare and the tailpipe…and the license plate holder which will come off next time I’m off road - just keep it on to keep DPS happy. Relocating the spare is the next issue, but that is much more involved and expensive to get right - I don’t want to lose the rear camera capabilities.

I bent my stock tailpipe all up in Moab. I just installed the SXTH and this will no longer be an issue.

Yes I sure have multiple times. those were all very steep sections of trail.... now the stock tip may have touched and I couldn't care less, it didn't leave it looking mangled heck I can't even tell that it did rub.

Installed my trail pipe a couple weeks ago. The sound is very subtle like you said. Barely hear the difference inside the cabin and outside, just slightly at cold start and low RPMs.
