Howdy!
Looking to add a sub(s) and redo the entire sound system in my ORP Hybrid. The JBL system is generally okay but I know theres way more potential.
My question is; does anyone know the electrical system limits? Through some research it seems that the general consensus is to not go above 500 watts RMS. I've had systems in previous vehicles in the past, so I'm not going in totally blind here, but it is my first time dealing with putting a system in a hybrid vehicle.
Fortunately I have the AUX switches which provides an alternator, which should alleviate some charging stress.
Anyone have any clue? I'd hate to just be limited to 500 watts RMS. If you're running an upgraded sound system in a hybrid model, how does it handle the load?
