I installed my aFe intake with the dry filter back in July. No issues what so ever. Fitment was perfect and instructions were very clear. Looks and sounds great. There's no reason I wouldn't recommend it.
Not sure about ANC, however I did some research on the surround technology JBL calls "Quantum Logic Surround Sound."
Turns out 4Runners and Tacos don't get the surround processing tech. It's a little misleading because if you go to the JBL x Toyota collaboration page on JBL's website, their...

Seems like aFe has released a new rear sway bar for the 4Runner and Land Cruiser platforms. They're saying it gives a 370%+ increase in stiffness. Wondering how much difference it will make in daily driving and towing...
Pressure washer, under body spray attachment, and a foam cannon. Try to get as much as you can off before hand washing to avoid scratches.
It's a new car and has normal new car coatings on the frame, so leaving it on isn't as detrimental as having a 10+ year old car. Obviously removing it...
Any idea if this will be available for the Hybrid models in the future? Does the hybrid system interfere too much and not allow for something like this? Very interested and will be keeping an eye on this.
Does anyone know the specs of the alternator that comes installed on the Hybrid models? I plan on installing an audio system in the near future and wanted to spec it out accordingly to not exceed the electrical system.
I've seen warnings to not push more than 30 Amps but that just doesn't seem...
I've had my ORP for a few months now. Doors rattle, seatbelt rattles, sun roof rattles. It's outrageous how much these 6th gens rattle for the amount of money we pay for them.
If you so much as play any amount of music that has mid-bass above volume 10, the doors sound like they're filled with...
Considering the 4Runner Hybrid pack is more than 7 times smaller in capacity than a modern Prius battery, it's going to cycle a lot more than the Prius would, but for a shorter amount of time.
As for time on to time off, I've sat in a parking lot with it running and A/C full blast, and the...
It depends what drive mode you're in. If you're in Sport it'll hold the RPM longer compared to being in Normal or Eco. If you're in Tow mode it'll hold it longer for engine braking purposes to save your brakes from getting too hot.
I drive in sport mode 99% of the time, and noticed it likes to...
If you're braking and going downhill, then a downshift for engine braking is normal. If you're just coasting and it downshifts that would be concerning. Odds are If the transmission had an issue it'd throw a code.
Straight up scammed. I bought 6qts of Pennzoil Platinum for $46, and an OEM filter for a few bucks more. Anything more than $100 if you bring it somewhere to be done is highway robbery.
I've been searching weekly trying to find any brand/company that will be releasing a complete upgrade kit that is plug and play. Is anyone aware of any that are currently in development or have already been released?
I don't mean something like the Beatsonic box. I'm looking for a full...
If I was in your position with an essentially brand new vehicle that's paid off and is known to hold it's value, I'd put another 25k miles on it, wait until 2027 then get a 6th gen. You'll most likely lose VERY little if any on your 2023 by waiting a couple of years. Just my two cents.
