Did you do the lift hatch as well? How did you pop off the cover for the lock hatch?Started sound deadening the interior. Want a quieter ride and hopefully helps on the sound quality of the stereo system. Using the stuff from Amazon. Considerably cheaper than Dynamat and the like . It goes down the same, doesn’t smell. Topping with a foam layer.

At idle I’m getting right at 40. At 50, idling in gear. I will get some numbers at 70. There are factors to consider there. Tires and condition of asphalt.Hey @Vincenzo what are your db readings at idle and at 70mph currently? Also, what tires are you running? In my SR5 using the Niosh app on my iphone I am reading approximately 49db at idle and around 70db at 70mph. I am running Kenda RT 33x10.5r17.
The drain holes are still accessible and only the rear doors have a thin plastic sheet vapor barrier, which is replaced with the soundskins material. The front doors have a vapor panel, which is reinstalled. The soundskins material is advertised as waterproof so I don't see an issue with your concerns.Any moisture/water concern behind the doors? They had that moisture/vapor barrier behind the doors coming from the factory also drain hole at bottom of all the doors. Wouldn't all these sound deadening material soak up moisture over time?
