Scoop out of KO3

Less than a thousand miles on these tires and bring them on a GREEN trail ride and something takes a quarter size scoop out of my sidewall. I mean, no tire is invincible, but never had this issue on the same trails with my OEM SL load Toyos. Unbelievable.

Oh, I also ripped the protective cup off my rear adjustable shocks and smashed the knob you turn on the Fox shocks.

Shoulda got the E rated tires instead...That doesnt look like a actual chunk gouged out of the side wall.
So the white of the tire is a layer BFG add to keep the white lettering white.....I was wondering why the sidewall would be white and i found this....

Very interesting. Tire Rack replaced it nonetheless under their road hazard warranty which I was very impressed with.

Tire Rack is owned by Discount Tire now....Discount will always swap out tires if you have road hazard on them....will also make 10 kinds of excuses to not FIX a actual flat but i digress.

same reason I tossed BFGoodrich tires off my tacoma.

one curb rub at the supermarket ripped sidewall rubber off
and exposed white underlying carcass. garbage.

these are much better trail tires

Ohhh see ive only had E rated non white lettering on my Ko3s but i think that white layer BS is new....this sucks to see that crap on these tires. Just leave the damn things alone.
