I’m still getting 14.5 mpg (14.46 calculated, 14.6 on dash) on my 2025 Toyota 4Runner Off-Road Premium non-hybrid with almost 2,000 miles.
I’m getting an oil change tomorrow since some people claim it makes a difference; I don’t believe it but what the heck.
Vehicle: 2025 4Runner Off-Road Premium
Engine: i-Force 2.4L Turbo non-hybrid
Drivetrain: Part Time 4WD
Modifications: None, totally standard
Driving Mode: Standard
Wheels: 18” TRD Black (Port Installed Option)
Tires: Falken Wild Peak A/T 265/70R18 116T tires
Tire Pressure: 33 (It started at 35 but at 641 miles dealer set to 33.
Driving Style: I think I’m moderate
Highway Speeds: 65 to 75 MPH
City/Highway Split: 60/40’ish
A/C: On most of the time. Not even sure how to turn it off.
Traffic Type: Mostly suburban/non-rush hour. Zero stop and go
Gas Brand: Costco “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline”
Gas Octane: Regular 87 mostly (Tried premium 91)
Gas Ethanol: Pump says “Contains Up to 10% Ethanol”. Southern California.
