Real World MPG by Owners (gas non-hybrid 4Runner) - Post Yours ⛽️

I’m still getting 14.5 mpg (14.46 calculated, 14.6 on dash) on my 2025 Toyota 4Runner Off-Road Premium non-hybrid with almost 2,000 miles.
I’m getting an oil change tomorrow since some people claim it makes a difference; I don’t believe it but what the heck.

Vehicle: 2025 4Runner Off-Road Premium
Engine: i-Force 2.4L Turbo non-hybrid
Drivetrain: Part Time 4WD
Modifications: None, totally standard
Driving Mode: Standard
Wheels: 18” TRD Black (Port Installed Option)
Tires: Falken Wild Peak A/T 265/70R18 116T tires
Tire Pressure: 33 (It started at 35 but at 641 miles dealer set to 33.
Driving Style: I think I’m moderate
Highway Speeds: 65 to 75 MPH
City/Highway Split: 60/40’ish
A/C: On most of the time. Not even sure how to turn it off.
Traffic Type: Mostly suburban/non-rush hour. Zero stop and go
Gas Brand: Costco “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline”
Gas Octane: Regular 87 mostly (Tried premium 91)
Gas Ethanol: Pump says “Contains Up to 10% Ethanol”. Southern California.
Miles at Last Fill: 11/15/25 1,931

ORP, factory ARB 3/4 roof rack, chin spoiler removed, 34 psi in tires, 80% highway/20% city, mostly in ECO and occasionally in NORMAL - 21.1mpg average (dash numbers - not computed myself at the pump).

Terrible. Still 14-15. I just got oil change at 2,000 miles as some suggested. I'll update next fill-up.

What mpg are you guys getting at higher speeds? I am only getting 17-22 at 80, depending on the wind. Air dam removed.

I just did a fill tank fill-up after oil change at 2,000 miles. I'm still getting terrible mileage 15.6 60/40 City/Highway. Total stock Off-road Premium.

I've got a TRD sport gas model 2300 mi. Over all 17 to 18 mpg. Use 87 octane. Air dam left on. 20 in Dunlops tire pressure abt 34. Changed out factory oil at 1800 mi. Noticed no difference. Love the ride disappointed in mpg. My old 2015 4 runner 93000 mi was getting 20 to 21 highway abt 18 overall. Thought they improved mpg. Maybe needs more break in time. BTW drive in ECO mode.

550 mi in. I’ve been averaging right around 20mpg w/ 265/60R20 (32.5”) Terra Grapplers on 75/25 city/highway.

22.6 siince new. 80% highway, low speed state highways which are probably the best case scenario for mileage.

i have a 2025 4R SR5 PT4WD. removed the 245 70 R17 with five 285 70 R17 (put full spare), installed 1.5- 2 inch RC Leveling Kit, TRD Skid Plate, and a front facing camera on front grill...anyway, Gas Mileage in city WENT FROM
19.5 mpg to 17.4 mpg...also got rid of that AIR DAM..
