i need to update you on the mpg...first, if i don't do a lot of quick acceleration, i'm getting anywhere between 18-20 mpg in the city..but when i'm on the highway, it's really bad (15.8 mpg) and i can't figure it out. But I love the 285's and it's a kind of stiff ride-like a truck.. cheers and...
Updated MPG...it's crazy; 17.4 city and 15.6 highway...after 5300 miles..if you modify your SR5 PT4WD by removing air-dam, changing to bigger tires 245 70 R17 to 285's, and 2 inch leveling kit you're going to take a hit on MPG..
I swear when i watched the YOUTUBE channel-TFLoffroad, titled/episode-2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road vs Limited 4x4 Torture, at about the 19:34 minute mark or so, Tommy states that he is in 4H, as he goes through "ANDRE's PIT" and as he & jen are progressing through the pit, at the 19:54...
this is the "baddest ass" 4Runner i have ever seen; including my own 2025 4R that i have made mods to..gr8 job! i can't stop looking at the pictures of your 4R..i'm jealous😂😉
i went from Yoko cv-x-245 70R17 trash and upgraded to Bridgestone's 285 70 R17's AT Ascent Duelers..Gas mileage went from about 18.7 city to 17.4 city..and I added a 1.5"-2" RC Leveling Kit..no change in my transmission changing gears..none that i notice anyway..
no mods needed..they did not rub at all when first installed. a day later, i installed a Rough Country 1.5"-2" leveling kit..so, i really like the STANCE now...
i have a 2025 4R SR5 PT4WD. removed the 245 70 R17 with five 285 70 R17 (put full spare), installed 1.5- 2 inch RC Leveling Kit, TRD Skid Plate, and a front facing camera on front grill...anyway, Gas Mileage in city WENT FROM
19.5 mpg to 17.4 mpg...also got rid of that AIR DAM..
i have the same problem with my driver's front flare. they said they will let me know something soon. it's been 1 month..lmao..telling me no without saying it directly
I put 285 70 R17s on my rig and replaced the donut with full SPARE of the same size..seeing that tire from behind, underneath my 2025 SR5 PT4WD looks badass..lol
