A mouse got into the fuse block on my 07 Tundra. Even though there's not a spec of rust on it I really didn't want to buy a new wiring harness so I just repaired it. If you want to make the install look factory I would try to find a Tacoma (or possibly another Toyota) in a junkyard with a damaged fuse block. Chances are the wiring harness would also be damaged. But odds are the relays and wiring harness would be good.

The wiring harness for the relays would be easy to add. They just snap in place. The fuse block on my Tundra was held in place by 3 or 4 screws. Once removed there's a cover on the bottom of the block. Remove that and then you could snap that part of the harness into place. You would have to make your own harness using the damaged one from the junkyard.

It would have been easy to tap into power. There were several spots to access it. At least one had a screw that held multiple wires onto a metal block with power. Chances are the wiring for the fuses also snaps into place. It would be more work that going aftermarket but you could have a nice clean install.

So, funny enough hybrid Tacoma's get pre-wired on the body harness for the pigtails, but they don't get pre-wired to the dash like the 4Runners so they're still missing 1/2 of the wiring. Just the exact opposite of the 4Runner which is weird.

We have a '24 TRD OR Hybrid Tacoma at work, and I was surprised to see it had ALL of the underhood wiring, all of the aux connectors, and it was just missing relays in the fuse box. I thought for sure we'd pop some relays in the fuse box, put some buttons in the dash, and call it a day....but when I took that dash panel off to plug in a button, it was empty. Disappointing.

For the entire thread;

I have figured out how to do this, I just haven't ordered lights yet so I haven't bothered taking the time to wire anything up. I'll see if I have the time to test my theory and write a how-to this weekend. It's relatively easy, costs under $200 using some nice aftermarket parts, and can be done in a rather short time. I'd just rather run through the exercise before publishing any more info on it.
Did you happen to get the OEM style wiring figured out for the OEM switches by chance?

Is there a part number for the pigtails from Toyota?

My raptor lights have just red and black wires, how did you join them to the Toyota harness?
Red would go to the corresponding hot wire on the wiring harness (depending on which AUX switch number you want to use, see below) and black would go to the corresponding ground wire.

I believe AUX1 and AUX2 are handled by the pigtail with the larger connector, and AUX3 and AUX4 are handled by the smaller one. You should receive 2 of the smaller ("Lo") pigtails in the box - that's because that one can be used in the engine bay and cabin locations concurrently.

That’s my current plan. After I started looking in to it all I kinda figured it all out. I thought each connector was its own aux button. Thanks for confirming my conclusion. This isn’t my wheelhouse and I needed it!

Late response, but no...not yet.I have a newborn this year, so my time has been pretty focused.

I really just need to buy some lights so I'm forced to finish this. It's so easy from this point on.

Sorry if I missed it, but does anyone know how I could order wiring pigtails for the OEM switches? I have three that I want to add but nothing to even begin wiring them with. Thanks!

Take the part #'s listed in this thread to your dealer and order them from the parts counter.

Or, order them online from another dealer, or even Amazon.

Ty! I think I may have found some on Ali express I’m going to try. I need the actual harnesses that plug directly into the back of the oem switches themselves. I’ll take another run through the thread though, wouldn’t be the first (or last) time I blatantly miss something.

The part numbers are literally posted on the same page of this thread as your post.

All I’m sorry but I’m not seeing them. I see the below but that is not what I need. I found and ordered harnesses from AliExpress and will try them.
