You need to get rid off all that excess from the wiring harness.
Your 4runner provides the switch, fuse, and relay.
I have 2 wires from my light bar go to the 2 wires from the aux 1 pigtail.
Then I ran the backlight wire to an ignition switched fuse in the fuse box.
I believe you could also use the aux 5 white wire on the pigtail for that.
You could just use AUX 5 wiring in the pigtail. Since it has constant power with ignition on.

Just to add to this thread.

The auxiliary switches included already supply power, ground and a relay.

Okay so pretty much everyone is running the wires on the side of their windshields in some sort of black channel. I just never noticed it in pictures until I saw someone wire it in a video.
I know I may be late to the party, but if you are still having issues I can assist. I run a dual setup also for my ditch lights. I have my amber DRL to come on with ignition using AUX 5 wire in the pigtail, and aux 4 for flood light. No need for extra relay, ground, or power. Your pigtail includes all of it. Just need to verify what amperage your lights use. The wire color in the pigtail will vary.
