Oil leak near rear wheels

Just noticed this weekend that the 4runner has left some oil stains on my driveway, the location of the stains is near the front of the rear tires on both left and right sides. I crawled under the car and looked aroudn for a bit, felt around, could not find any oil residue or leaks. Anyone know what this could be from or have a similar issue? Car only has 800 miles, I'll probably take it in to the dealership later to inspect but just wanted to ask around first. Thanks!

Did you confirm it is oil and not from the condensate drains for the A/C system? There are two little drains you can see under the vehicle near the running boards on either side.

I had originally thought that when I saw them at first but they haven't dried up and disappeared and look more like oil stains now. Is there something in the condensation drain that would stain concrete?

I wouldn’t think they’d stain, should be only water. Hope it turns out to not be a big deal, let us know what the dealer has to say!

Does it smell?

Gear oil typically reeks of body odor due to the sulphur.

I do get condensation when running my AC. The water drips behind the front left and right tires. It is condensation from the AC in my case.

That's what I thought, but OP said in front of rear tires.....I'm clueless on what it could be...

Sounds like possibly brake fluid, Check around rear calipers.

it’s for sure some type of oil, managed to find it dripping today. Seems to be coming down from this gap in the body where the running boards are mounted

The amount of things I’ve diagnosed by taste is surprisingly high.

Maybe condensate blowing back there at speed. Oil in condensate means one thing. Gas leak at the evaporator.

Is this still happening? Could it be Rudy protection and dripping now?
My new SR5 is dripping a few drops a day from both sides of frame, looks clear and oily.

My sr5 frame was leaking from both sides too.
The dealer has not seen this on any other 4runner, so seems like an issue.

Any updates? is it still leaking, do we know what it is?
My sr5 frame was leaking from both sides too.
The dealer has not seen this on any other 4runner, so seems like an issue.
