I believe it is detailed in the owners manual. Your best bet would be hitting the tow/haul button - gives you more torque also. I’ve noticed the vehicle going electric only in sport mode, but never in tow/haul mode.
Did you confirm it is oil and not from the condensate drains for the A/C system? There are two little drains you can see under the vehicle near the running boards on either side.
