Im sorry I dont remember or have pics to look back on. But you can use any bolt which goes to the chassis as long as its not bolting down something plastic as plastic will not conduct.
but you were able to find a bolt in that passenger side compartment? ive breifly looked but couldnt seem to find any bolts in there that werent just for plastic. Just wanted to make sure before i start taking apart other peices to search for more

Yes. There are no wire harness ground points close to there but there are a couple spots I believe that the dash frame or metal bracket is attached to body in that area.

I've been using an OBD II usb cable to hard wire dash cams on all my vehicles and will be doing so with my 6G4R. Always on power with low voltage protector allows the dash cam to record during parking mode.

A simple, reversible, and proven solution that's worked for me for many years and cars.

Where does the red wire go? The one that is attached to the yellow.
One is connected to your fuse box, the other I can see where it goes.
Is that going into the engine bay and onto your battery?

The dash cam i have is the Wolfbox Tripro.
So it comes with 3 wires: ACC power , Always on, and ground.

I only want ACC power so i connected that to the fuse box and the ground to a stud that connects to power. The wire for always on is not connected and tucked away.

Hi guys - I am currently attempting to hardwire my dash cam (we actually have another thread going that started recently). Running in to some of the same issues. The Ground bolt I used goes through the engine firewall and was giving me issues (loss of power intermittently) so I am going to attempt using bolts in the locations you have mentioned (THANKS!). I'm curious if you were able to reattach the kick plate over the fuse box? I can only get one (far left) clip to snap in correctly and it's not very secure. Do I just a hole out or just let it hang? It's fallen off once already and rattles a bit.

If youre talking about the fuse cover in the passenger foot well, i taped the cover to the side of it and wedged the overall footwell cover pack into place
