4Runner is 2WD / 4WD where LC is full time AWD. LC is a bit snappier off the lineYou can disagree all you want. The engines are the same and also tuned EXACTLY the same.

Other than the locking rear diff, the FT4WD system in the 4Runner limited/platinum is the same as the LC afaik.4Runner is 2WD / 4WD where LC is full time AWD. LC is a bit snappier off the line
I thought the OP has a ORP?Other than the locking rear diff, the FT4WD system in the 4Runner limited/platinum is the same as the LC afaik.
Yep, non hybrid. So that is a main difference for my comparison/decisionI thought the OP has a ORP?
4R should run 87, LC premium. Discussed and debated in many other posts. No advantage to running premium in 4R.Fuel thing is always funny to use as a con. Premium should be run in both. Running 87 in the LC is no different than in the 4runner.
This is factually wrong. Dyno proves a 20hp increase when using premium.4R should run 87, LC premium. Discussed and debated in many other posts. No advantage to running premium in 4R.
Have you seen the dyno sheets? This is factually wrong. Dyno proves a 20hp increase when using premium.
But back to OP. If you can afford it just do it.
Yes. Posted on here more than once. Stillen posted on youtube.Have you seen the dyno sheets?
Key word "seems". Way more headroom in the LC, generally feels more comfortable/spacious because of the lack of high center console/shifter/grab handle. The 6th gen 4runner feels cramped in the front and rear seats compared to my 5th gen that I've owned for 12 years. The LC feels like the successor of the 5th gen in most ways in my opinion. Boxier, taller windshield, higher more commanding seating position etc.interior seems more spacious ?
it isn't tho....4runner has more space inside
