Bluetooth connectivity improved?

I’ve always considered this an iPhone problem but for the last week or two the Bluetooth connection to my gen6 ORP has been reliable. Anyone else have similar experience?

2025 Off-Road premium with the JBL system. Zero issues with connecting my iPhone 16 to CarPlay or playing directly from my phone. I do notice that when I start it remotely, I have to turn off the head unit and back on in order for CarPlay to connect. This makes sense, since my phone isn't in the vehicle at the time of starting it. I'm at 5200 miles.

I switched over from a Volvo a couple months ago and had occasional connection issues. Until recently I would have to turn Bluetooth off and on on the iPhone to get connected. Maybe an apple update fixed it… just curious.

CarPlay bluetooth or regular bluetooth?

1,500 miles in and the only issue I had with CarPlay was on one trip, for some reason, the entire CarPlay system shut off and restarted twice out of the blue. Never had that since that episode

My carplay disconnects on its own with my iphone 16 pro at least several times a week. Sometimes each ride. Really disappointed because when I got the car it was fine, but I assume some sort of OTA update ruined it.

No problems, but I've been using Android Auto principally and it relies on Bluetooth to make the connection and Wi-Fi Direct to transmit data. It's actually been functioning perfectly.

I’m in the group that never had issues with my iPhone and the 4Runner, it always connects reliably and quickly.
