  1. Sherpa or Westcott Lo-Pro roof rack??

Hi M&M, I really don't think you need to worry too much. The rubber feet sit behind the aluminum side rail, so they are shielded from direct sunlight and potential UV damage. I'm sure they're rugged enough to withstand high ambient temperatures within the ranges you'd experience. Hope that...
  2. One Year with the 6th Gen (Meta Mod Recap) - 2025 4Runner TRD ORP Hybrid Build

My mods (excluding the bike rack) add about 500lbs to the gross vehicle weight. With that weight and the aerodynamic hit from the RTT, I'm getting between 18-20mpg with my average over the last 5 tanks of gas averaging 18.6mpg.
  3. One Year with the 6th Gen (Meta Mod Recap) - 2025 4Runner TRD ORP Hybrid Build

Thanks @HVLA. Regarding your questions: 1. I haven't tracked it, but it's probably more than I'd care to admit. 😳 2. No YouTube channel. Maybe some day...
  4. One Year with the 6th Gen (Meta Mod Recap) - 2025 4Runner TRD ORP Hybrid Build

One year ago, I took delivery of my 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium iForceMAX. It was one of the first 50 6th Gens to arrive at the Port of Portland, and I was psyched! I’d done the research and had my dealer (Columbia Gorge Toyota in The Dalles) place a factory reservation for the...
  5. Greenlane Off Road Hidden Winch Bumper Install & Review - READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

I installed the CBI Super Stock Covert Recovery Bumper on my TRD ORP hybrid and I've been really happy with it. Total install time (including the WARN EVO 10-S) was about 4.5 hrs, and the hardest/scariest part was just cutting and finishing the edge of the plastic bumper cutout. I found this...
  6. Sherpa Rack (Capitol Roof Rack) installed on my TRD ORP iForce MAX

You really can't go wrong with the Sherpa. I considered both the Westcott and the Sherpa, and I'm glad I went with the Capital rack. The fit is solid, installation was easy, and there is very little wind noise. Mine has held up great and I have no regrets.
  7. What are you using AUX switches for?

I actually ended up going with the CBI Super Stock Covert bumper with a set of Baja Designs S2 Pro fogs and a WARN EVO 10k winch, and I'm really happy with it. Here's a quick iPhone pic:
  8. Westcott vs Prinsu roof rack

Here's my detailed post about the Sherpa Capital rack. I'm a big fan. You can mix and match with this stuff -- I also have the Westcott Designs rear hatch ladder and I love their stuff, too...
  9. Color matched (painted) license plate frame to Mudbath color

What license plate frame did you use? Can you share a link?
  10. Westcott Designs SP mount (Switch Pro Mount) install

See my post here: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/switchpros-keypad-mounting-bracket-from-westcott-designs.7525/ You have to remove the plastic cover panel and measure for the location of the holes for the mounting screws (I agree, a template would have been nice...) but it wasn't that...
  11. Any suggestions on how and where I can mount this air compressor?

Take a look at this thread: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/installed-arb-twin-motor-air-compressor-using-bpf-mounting-bracket.3936/ ... and this gallery of detailed install photos for one option: https://lastinglight.pixieset.com/bpfandarbaircompressorinstall/
  12. Anyone know what this is for?

I finally got this installed. The black plastic plate below the headlight is exactly the right size/shape surface to mount the strobe onto, and I was able to wire it into my SwitchPros 9100 for control from the dash. Here are a couple of install photos to show the process, while I had the...
  13. Where are the photographers at?? Whats your go to setup?

I'm a commercial photographer in Hood River, OR. Lasting Light Photography I shoot a Canon R5 Mark II and a fleet of RF lenses and Godox strobes.

  15. Real-world use of 4Runner’s 2400W Inverter Power Outlet: gear, tips & cautions

I can charge it from 15% to 90% in under two hours with the EcoFlow throttled to only charge at 400W (not drawing the full 2400W off the inverter). The reason I did that is that the Toyota DC-AC inverter is really loud when it's maxed out. See my other post about that here...
  16. DAY 3: Camping Kit - Hybrid TRD Off-Road Premium iForce Max in Cutting Edge

Right. I wasn't saying it was complicated to tap the 12v battery — just that it turned out to be more complicated than I thought to get the 12v battery to maintain its charge using the hybrid battery as an input.
  17. DAY 3: Camping Kit - Hybrid TRD Off-Road Premium iForce Max in Cutting Edge

Oh, right. I explored that option, but it seemed like it was going to be quite complicated. I ended up just using the 2400W Inverter to charge an EcoFlow power station instead. It'll power the Dometic refrigerator for 3-4 days continuously (as well as laptops and devices, as needed). As...
  18. DAY 3: Camping Kit - Hybrid TRD Off-Road Premium iForce Max in Cutting Edge

If you're asking about the Blue Sea Systems outlets that provides 12v in the rear cargo area, I installed that one myself. You can read the detailed desciption here: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/blue-sea-systems-12v-power-panel-install-in-orp-hybrid.4046/ If you're looking for a...
