After a lot of research, this is what I decided to go with for my build:

Method 321 wheels (+25 offset) wrapped in 285/75R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and a ReadyLift kit — 2.5” in the front and 1” in the back.

The ride feels smooth and solid, definitely different from stock, which is expected when upgrading suspension and tires. No trimming or modifications needed. The wheels are +25 offset.

Really happy with how it came out. Running boards go on this week — more updates coming soon. Appreciate all feedback!

Perfection. Great job. I’m about to do the same with my Underground, except I’m going with the Ironman 4x4 lift.

Your post gives me hope that I made the right tire and offset choices.

Thanks for sharing,
Could you please elaborate more on the ride quality? Is it stiffer or softer? And how are you going to fix the steering wandering after upgrading to a much larger tires?

Right now, I don’t really have an issue with the small amount of wander. We’ve got to remember, we’re changing the whole dynamics of the vehicle — geometry, tire size, and suspension angles — so some trade-off is normal.

For now, it drives great and sits really well. If it ever becomes more noticeable, I’ll look into adding a steering stabilizer or other supporting parts. I’ll be going back to the shop after about 500 miles for a realignment once the suspension settles, and I’ll share how it feels after a few weeks of driving.
