Yes that's correct, at least for the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. Here's a Tacoma TRD Pro build sheet listing the "Rigid Fog Lights - White / Yellow" as a $700 option.

This is a look at how the 2025 4Runner Trailhunter fog lights (standard equipment) switches from white to amber. Switchable foglights is an option on the TRD Pro.
Nice mockup. Just noticed how good TRD stripe colors look on Mudbath.
Will your platform roof rack work directly with the 2025 4runner's factory roof rails? Or will the OEM roof rails have to be removed and replaced with a Rhino Rack Backbone rail or cross bar?
I've been tire kicking the 2024 Tacoma while waiting for more 4Runner details and a hands-on whenever they land at dealers. If I end up with a Tacoma, probably gonna put a topper on it to get closer to 4Runner's cargo weatherproof-ness.
And so the public road show begins! I remember following the new Tacoma's rollout last year and it had its first public showing at the Overland Expo Mountain West show. They had an Off-Road model showing if I remember correctly.
Mudbath looks good here. And it'll definitely hide that mud...
We should be able to buy OEM fender flares for any trim and swap them onto any other trim right? Let's say I wanted gloss black fender flares of the TRD Pro on a TRD Sport. In looking at the different models, I don't see any body differences that would prevent this.
Man the TNGA-F chassis looks stout. Especially that Trailhunter one they're showing with those built in rock sliders.
Interesting when he expplains how the frame is exactly same between 4Runner and Tacoma up until the halfway point and then it starts to differ for the 4runner because it's...
If you can't find an MSRP dealer around you, consider using a car broker. This broker has been selling Toyota for years and is getting good reviews and good pricing (often below MSRP) for members on Tacoma4g for the new 2024 Tacoma:
Inventory Update 3/12/24 -- $3000+ Below MSRP deals on 2024...
Man that was a good watch. You guys gotta view this one... so much better than most other "review" videos which are just regurgitating official specs with not much value added. THis makes me even more excited for the hybrid and halo models Trailhunter and TRD Pro than before.
from @gastan’s post in another thread:
From the official Toyota press release:
"The 2025 4Runner will be built in Toyota Motor Corporation's Tahara plant in Japan and will arrive in the U.S. in the fall of 2024."
Fall of 2024 ends on December 20, 2024 so an arrival date at dealers in December...
Thanks for confirming that there's artificial noise / fake engine noise being heard in the Tacoma. Good news for @AircooledFanatic is that it can be changed via OBD2 interface.
